He also met with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, and took part in discussions with leaders from the Visegrád Group, a cultural and political alliance of four Central European countries. Magyar stressed the significance of rejuvenating Visegrád cooperation, emphasizing its importance to regional unity.
Magyar confirmed that plans are underway for further regional talks to be hosted in Hungary, signaling a commitment to strengthening ties among Central European nations. Meanwhile, EU leaders are expected to advance their discussions on the bloc’s fiscal framework for the 2028–2034 period, seeking to align their long-term budgetary priorities with the union’s evolving needs.
